For starters I'm still WTT. But I love looking at baby names. One I absolutely love is Persephone. I can't seem to get it off my mind. But is it just too far out there? And if it makes any difference, my other children are named Aiden, Madalynn, and Seraphina.

It's a big name for a little girl, but no bigger than Seraphina!

To be honest, I prefer grown-up names on little girls to the inverse. I do wonder about a generation of 40-year-old women called Coco, Lulu, and Pixie.

I think if you love it, go for it! It works with your other kids' names.

I love Persephone. Do you like it for the name itself (ie, the way it sounds) or for the meaning/history?

I only ask because my maiden name is Koren, which is Greek. It's a form of "kore," which means maiden and is also a nn for Persephone. I had always thought maybe I could use a variation of it for a girl's name if BD didn't buy it, lol. Examples: Kora, Korin, Korinne, etc...
