Am I Pregnant

Hello Lovely Ladies,

So here goes, My LMP was on 28-April-2014 and i had unprotected sex on 28th april (just before is started AF) 12th may and 13th may. I have very on the dot regular periods.

I had implantation bleeding (very little brown spotting) on 18,19,20 and 21. Had cramping, back ache during this time. My nipples are sore and itchy, i feel exhausted so soon and i still have light cramps now and then on right or left or in the lower abodomen (like period cramps). And accompanied by sharp pain through my left leg for a sec or two. I am usually on 28 day cycle all urine tests shows negative.

Doc did transvaginal ultrasound at aroung 5 weeks and says not pregnant. But insists that i have ovarian cysts on both each of (13mm and 9mm). One on each side. Asked to come back again after 10 days.

My periods arrived 12 days later with normal flow (sry TMI) and lasted 3 days and then brown spotting. Now, my boobs have become fuller and and i have caught cold. Was i pregnant since the last month and still had bleeding. I have cramps in my lower abdomen still

Please let me know if am pregnant or not. Or how many more days should i wait for this. Thanks,

If you think you may be pregnant from your previous cycle, why not take a test now? x

Too much to read.. Sory for that. I did take tests before my bleeding that started on 9 june 14.

I will take another and if it come negative. I would think a scan will rule out as it would place me at 8 weeks.

I feel this cramps in abdomen which cannot be overlooked..

Ovarian Cysts can cause bleeding and very painful cramping. What you thought was implantation bleeding could have been from the cysts. If a dr did a US and said there was nothing in your uterus at what should be 5weeks, then the chances are very very slim.

Hello Ladies, thanks for your response.

I had cyst of 4 cm around some 8 yrs ago, and there were cramps on one side only (ovary side) and no bleeding of that sort happend to me then.

If i have cysts on ovaries, then y the period like cramps in my lower abdomen.

Neg tests and neg TVUS, no, I'd say it is highly unlikely you are pregnant.

We can't tell you if you are pregnant. A pregnancy test or ultrasound can though. If both say you aren't then I would go with that. If you need more clarity maybe try and get beta bloods done? Good luck x

And the thing that stuck me is that my breasts have almost increased by 2 inches..they became fuller. and i am generally smaller at breasts.

Any clue why this might be the case. I lost weight but seems bu boobs gained..

If the test and the ultrasound says no, you're not pregnant

Unfortunately, there are cases where ovarian cysts can give off slight amounts of hormones that can cause all kinds of issues with your cycle like delaying it, mimic pg symptoms and abdominal cramping. I'd go with what your doctor said and say you probably aren't pregnant. I've had random ovarian cysts before and have had cramping and odd symptoms from them. I've also had cycles with suspected ovarian cysts as I've had extremely delayed AF (28 days on the nose then suddenly 7.5 weeks, 6.5 weeks, 5.5 weeks, then back to 28 days on the nose.) and a pinchy/crampy feeling in my abdomen. Your tests this weekend should shed some light on the situation.

Yes I hope so.. I am schedued for tomorow and my boobs have also gotten big.. Will this be also a case of ovarian cysts..

This cramping i had intense and now reduced.. now and then similar to menstrual like am about to bleed. But nothing.

It could. I think it would depend on how the cysts are affecting your hormones and what hormones are being affected (hCG, testosterone, progesterone, etc.). But I know cysts can cause pg symptoms so increased boob size is def a possibility.

hello ladies.

i was pregnant and miscarried wen i bled on 9th june.

there was no signs of cysts.

went to a different doc. showed her previous scan and she said that it was a sac at 5 weeks.

my prvious ob.gyn neglected.

No cysts now and no baby.

maybe the cysts you have are hormonal ones and are also making your boobs act up.

I'm sorry hon. I've had numerous losses and know how hard it hurts to lose a baby.

so sorry for your loss (I've missed your last post when i posted about boobs, sorry for that..)... these things are devastating and even worse when the OB/gyn neglect them and sign them off...
