... Who's accidentally smacked their LO while positioning to Breastfeed? :dohh:
I've done it again, tonight! Went in to nurse him to sleep and I'll do it laying down. Went to move my arm above his head and bring him closer -- and elbowed him in the forehead! I feel like a douche, afterwards.

Maybe clumsy mom's shouldn't breastfeed! :haha: Please tell me I'm not the only one?

i havent but i am a clumsey nappy changer lol with my son i lifted his bottom and legs to get a good wipe going on down there and he started crying thinking it was because of the cold wipe i continued cleaning whilst saying oh darling i know its cold, ater a couple of seconds looked at him his face was all wet . . . . he was weeing straight into his face when i had his legs lifted . . . . have never felt so guilty and stupid lol

LMAO that's priceless!

The other day I was eating a sandwich while BF and accidentally dropped a bread crumb in LO's eye! Took me ages to get it out. I felt terrible - LO didn't even notice!

Sounds like something I would do, lucky I have a girl really!!

I managed to smack LOs head on the plastic cot in the hospital when putting him in there; when he was all of 3 hours old! :( xx

Ahhh yes, you aren't alone. We've had let downs in the eye, elbows to foreheads, food droplets on face and sleepsuits, and.... not strictly the same thing but I feel I must confess to using my lo as a shelf sometimes to place my chocolate on in particular....

Hehe, Freya, on the chocolate thing. Yeah, done the milk in the eye thing, too -- sadly, he did it himself, by pinching! Guess who doesn't pinch mommy while nursing, anymore? :haha:

Gotta love the clumsy moments, right, ladies? Thankfully they don't remember the "mommy in training" parts.

I am embarrassed to admit I bit my LOs finger when he was small. He was a red, screaming, flailing little chap for the first 12 weeks and I was talking to my daughter whilst holding him, screaming, and he flailed and managed to swipe his finger in my mouth while I was mid sentence. I felt so guilty bless him x
