Handy thread, we talked about getting the kids one each for Christmas rather than some VTech thing.

Do the prices go much lower on Black Friday?

Last year on Black Friday we got it on amazon for £49.99

It was very limited stock I had to wake up at silly oclock (think was 3am) to get one but was worth it

Can you get Whatsapp on it? I heard its not easily downloadable anymore. I only ask because the girls want to trying a messaging platform to each other.

My sister in law bought 2 of the regular kindle fires last year on Black Friday for $35 each, and got the kids shockproof cases for them. Set up parental controls, and they are basically the same thing as the kids version now, just cost a lot less.
