This is probably gonna sound silly but is it okay to eat? The only concern I have is of it not being pasturised (since it contains milk and milk products) but surely cuzve its shelf life it should be? Please tell me someone I can have it!

Mmmm, I love rice pudding! I have no idea if it is safe (sorry for being no help) but I have eaten whilst being pregnant x

No worries! I wish I had some sort of robot walking around with me telling me "this is okay to eat"!!! And yep rice pudding yummmmmmm

It will be pasturised, like milk is,all stuff containing milk or milk products will have been pasturised unless it actually says on the label unpasturised milk. (I used to work in a large dairy) because milk is considered unsafe if it hasnt been pasturised then it will tell you on the label, the same if something contains nuts, they have to by law. So all milk and things containing milk is safe unless it states that it hasnt been pasturised. btw, thanks,I now NEED rice pudding lol!!!!

I'm sure it is fine to eat. Nearly everything you find in the supermarkets now days is pasturised, especially pre-packed stuff. It's when you go out to eat and the food's homemade you mights need to ask questions.

Not a rice pudding fan myself, would rather have a fat slice of cheesecake yummmmmmmy!! Enjoy though!! xx

It is fine. Any tinned or pre-packaged products containing milk have to be pasturised otherwise they won't actually keep for very long. Ambrosia Creamed Rice has a very long shelf life!

Arr - I really want Ice-cold Rice pudding now! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

How weird i have just finished tucking into hot rice pudding with galaxy chocolate at the bottom of the bowl which was all melted by the time i'd worked my way through the lot, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Argh! I want some now.... I'm sure its safe to eat...which is good because im going to go out and get some tomorrow now i have the thought.

Its totally ok:thumbup: its gotta be pasturised before canning..gosh I wish they sold it over here..1 of the things I miss about Britain..ambrosia rice and chip shop chips:rofl:

Sounds safe to me in the sense that it won't cause food poisoning, but are you really sure you want your rice in a pudding? Ewwww......eww.
