We live in the coal mining belt!!! so many people will starve, lose their homes, and be forced to take government assistance when they were the ones to support it all those years!

How do you mean? Has he stated that he plans to shut down coal mining? I thought there was a pretty big push to find US-based energy reserves, like shale gas, so wouldn't coal mining be looked at as an important resource?
And I am not arguing with you or doubting that you have a valid reason to be concerned, but just trying to understand your statement in the context of various articles I've read. Any election can feel pretty worrisome for either side, especially if you feel like your livelihood is at stake. In the nicest way possible, I sure hope you are wrong!

The world wanted Obama and we're all very relieved he got in. If the coal miners loose their jobs as poster above promises, please fill us in but I suspect this was a fear-based tactic to get Republican votes in that area, I think your community will be just fine!

Obama is looking to expand resources & business. He still has damage to deal with left from the Bush era but we can be reassured that logic and intelligence will prevail. Women will keep their rights, the extremist religious right-wing-nuts will not have the clout to impact federal legislation with their whacko dogma and the economy will prosper as the rich will be taxed a meager 3% (money made from the backs of Americans that will rightly go back to Americans rather than be invested by rich buggers in foreign economies). this is just the tip of good things to come as he said, I'm very excited that so many will have the right to health care (like most other wealthy countries), and hopefully American money will stay in America rather than leaking out as the flood gates opened in the Bush era. Obama has a tall stack of things to deal with, I hope the teabaggers and republicans can play fair in the senate.
