We don't do it that way here. Votes are tallied and whomever has the most wins. Or have I completely got it wrong about how it is down there in the States?

that's what makes more sense! the electoral votes are silly. but i guess because some states are bigger, but don't have has many people. so some how its more fare...i don't reeeeally fully understand it myself
