Sorry about spelling lol

I've been having an eventful pregnancy, hypermeisis in first trimester, crippling spd and pregancy allergys lol not enjoying it, oh and pop in a breech baby who im sure is chewing on my ribs!

Im 32 weeks on thursday and routine bloods came back today that im anemic (Silly me put the extreme tierdness down to well just being tierd lol)

I'm on 200mg ferrous sulphate x3 a day

What im looking for really is something I can do to pick me up... I'm soooooo tierd... i can have a lie in till 11 (thanx to hubby seeing to the kids) then still need to nap at 1/2pm till 3/4pm and still be tierd I got 2 small kids already (4yr old and an almost 2 yr old)

I cant drink coffee really without being sick lol so caffine fix = no no lol plus from what i've read caffine makes iron absorbsion difficult

I have seen i should start to perk up in a week or so but thats a long time living like a sloth plus im not prepped for baby at all lol and with my lack of energy well doesnt help...

oh and looks like im getting an infection of some kind (via blood test) so by the time i perk up im prolly gunna be poorly again and it wont get done then

please help lol

I'm also worried, i'm having a c-section on the 2nd of novemeber and i read it can take 3-4 months for anemia to right itself properly even with tablets, and ofcourse theres bleeding issues with it

am i being silly worrying, if im still anemic at my pre-op they would probabaly give soemthing for clotting wouldnt they?

I've never been anemic in pregnancy before lol, I was after my first daughter due to loss of blood but not too bad i was on one tab a day and no where near this tierd

I wish I could give you some advise but really all I can say is I know how the extreme anemia feels. I had it with my last pregnancy it even caused me to now have a heart murmur. I am sure doing your c-section they will give you what you need to stay safe and have things go smoothly.
Don't push yourself I know that is difficult with two little ones already.
Think positive.
Hang in there!

Hi :flower: My gp just phoned me yesterday to tell me my bloods came back and im also aneamic and im on 2 iron tablets per day for 2 months , ive had this problem with both my other pregnancies and as soon as your iron levels pick up you will start to feel better very soon honest :hugs: they will check your bloods before you c-section to check again so don't worry and hope you feel better soon :hugs: oh and eat loads of red meat and broccoli they are full of iron look up the net for iron rich foods and get in there yummy :winkwink:

I meant to go and get loads of green veggies but forgot haha

I hope your levels pick up soon too!

a few things i was worried about all it seems are probabaly related to the iron thing too (urg lol) like no appitite ect and I have absolutly NO patience with my other two kids It's like im some horrible evil person i seem to be shouting all the time

I dont know how long i have to take the iron for I have 28 days worth now but the dr didnt say anything just need to get your iron up (I have a very helpful gps... not)
But I see my MW a week on friday so I can ask her, but my pre op is about the 20th of october anyway so even if no answers then i guess they will know what to do...

I learnt one thing lastnight... EVEN THOUGH ITS BEST TO TAKE THEM ON AN EMPTY STOMACH DOOOOOOOOOOONT!!!!!! i did it just before bed thought not gunna be eating or drinking anything so best time too... about 30 min later (about the time it takes for it to desolve) evil heart burn the worst i have ever had!
