Another failed iui!

Hi ladies,
This is my 1st time posting anything. I'll try to be short I have 2 kids both conceived with any problems. 4years ago we decided to try again 4 years later 2 iui, 5 cycles of clomid, 4 of femera, one miscarriage, and no baby today I found out my last iui failed! I can't even begin to express how beyond depress I feel right now. Worse I told my dh that the procedure failed and he said he's done ttc
My last cycle the nurse said I had 3 mature follies all 3 size 20-23 great thick lining she said did a trigger shot that night blood work showed that I was ready to o. Did iui next day and today 2 days before period was due it came.
I know only you ladies can understand what I'm going through. The more the doc says everything looks great I end up more frustrated because then I have more questions than answers I can't stop crying and feeling lost and so alone. Any words of encouragement will be very much appreciated

So sorry you're going through this Have you had a HSG yet to make sure your tubes are clear?

I am kinda going through the same thing. I have had 2 girls to with minimal problems they are now 4 and 2. My husband and I have been trying for number 3 for about a year now and my body has decided to not want to ovulate with the meds that worked to get my other 2. So I have been trying IUI for about 3 cycles. 2 of those cycles my body wasn't doing what it was supposed to do and my hormones were going nuts. So finally after 2 failed cycles of my eggs not growing I finally started taking a steroid which made me have 2 great looking eggs at 20 and 21mm so I took my trigger waited 2 weeks just to find out it failed. I was heart broken and my husband was the same as yours he pretty said what's the point in continuing if its not going to work and spending all kinds of money. I did manage to talk him down from being so upset and we are just starting the next cycle.

I'm so sorry Jenywishes. I know many women here can relate to what you're going through right now.

Infertility is such a miserable and draining thing, I can understand why dh is getting frustrated. However, holding a baby in your arms is well worth all of the heartache you're going through right now. The thought of how happy I will be when my little girl gets a sibling is what has kept me going through the rough patches.

The good thing is that you've had two children together with no problems, so you both have proven fertility. Are you seeing an OB/GYN or an RE? After several rounds of Clomid and Femara with no success, it might be time to look at other possible causes for your infertility. If you've been seeing and OB/GYN it's probably time to see an RE. If you've been seeing an RE, then you might want to see another one who will take a different approach. It's amazing how much doctors' opinion will differ on the same patient. Do your own research so you can make informed decisions, because you will get many conflicting opinions! I know my head is still spinning from all of the different opinions I've gotten.

Take your time to grieve and then figure out your next steps when you're ready. I know it's not easy.
