another poo question

Jack hasn't done a poo since tuesday evening and he is really not himself. i know by him that he needs to go and he is trying. MIL told me sugar in water helps. does anyone have any other advice?

someone (bigbelly I think) has said orange juice in water helps...but I'm not sure of the ratios.

With Ally we find giving him a bath helps and just keeping him upright too.

well the sugar and water worked. he took one ounce of it earlier and went for a sleep. then woke for his feed and in the middle of it filled his nappy he is so relieved now
