Another TMI question - how long after DTD do you wait to check CM?

How long do you wait after DTD do you wait to check for CM?

The next morning after DTD I always think I have EWCM when if fact it is probably semen - I am currently waiting for my first ovulation after BC so am desperate to see EWCM!

I have tried putting it in water to see if it breaks down, or on tissue to see if it absorbs, but can't really tell either way.

How long realistically should I wait after DTD to be sure it's EWCM and not semen? Is the next morning (so about 10 ish hours, lying down all night) enough?

I usually wait 24 hours...

Sperm can stick around and look like ewcm for about 2 days I think but u soon figure out what really is ew and what is sperm residue. I thought it was all so complex my first cycle but now I'm going onto number 4 I thi k iv just about got t sussed so stick with It and it will all seem so obvious soon x

Thank you... this is a nightmare when dtd every other day....I keep thinking I have ewcm when it is probably just semen left over!
