anovulatory cycle?

So, I am pretty convinced I wont be ovulating this cycle, which I dont understand why.

I had O pains early on, and then the past week I have had watery cm slightly egg white. My temps dont reflect it so I am going to assume I dont get to ovulate for some weird reason, ok cool.

Now what?

If I dont ovulate I wont get a period. Do I continue to wait and see if my body kicks it into ovulate? The chances of getting a period - a normal one at that - are very slim if I dont ovulate, so what do I do?

Do I need to see a Dr? I know having an anovulatory cycle is normal once in awhile...so im just curious on what my next steps -should- be.

You'll either not get a period until after you have ovulated, or after a while (no idea when), you might have a breakthrough bleed and start over again. Doc wont do anything unless its regular occurrence or if you go months without a period. You'll just have to wait it out unfortunately. Ovulation can be delayed for many reasons, it can still happen. Happened around CD50 two cycles ago for me.
