It took me ten years after having my tubes removed to be in a place financially to try Ivf.
So naturally it was absolutely devistating to have nothing frozen and a bfn.
Short protocol, (new re thinks my doses were high for someone with high AMH and otherwise perfectly healthy - 175 gonal , 75 menopur)
12 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 7 fertilized- day three all were good.
Day 5 two were transferred. Day six all remaining arrested
I am so fortunate to qualify for a clinical trial, and get the opportunity to try again. Their approach is much different, bc, Luron, and a similar dose of gonal/menopur because she said 12 eggs was perfect.
I am so scared it will be the same. Absolutely terrified. Working my best on diet and taking prenatal and vitamins d, also coq10.
I guess my question is, does anyone have a happy ending to a story similar to mine ? Second try success stories maybe?
All is healthy except my tubes and husband recently diagnosed “mild male factor” but since we have to do Ivf anyway I don’t think that makes much of a difference does it?
