I've finally felt what i think is my baby, it just feels like bubbles popping, am i right? Also, just found out i have an anterior placenta, does anyone else? and is this a problem? Apparently that's why it's taken me longer to feel my little girl move...

I have anterior placenta and it isn't a problem, it just means our placenta is lining the front wall of the uterus, therefore cushioning kicks that baby might be aiming at the front of our stomachs!
I'm sure i have been feeling baby, i understand why people describe it as bubbles, but to me it feels more like palpatations.. just in the bottom half of my stomach lol!
I have a friend who is 25 weeks with anterior placenta and you can clearly see her little boy kicking away at her stomach, so i think once baby is a bit bigger the placenta won't really make much difference in feeling babies activities lol :)

That sounds like baby movements to me! :)
Having an anterior placenta doesn't mean anything other than it's position, which is on the front wall of your uterus, so nothing at all to worry about!

Defo sounds like baby moving.
My placenta is anterior and I can feel baby move and so can my husband so its not making any difference to me.

Ahhh thankyou! I was starting to think that i'm just imagining things. I feel the little bubbles on and off all day, so i'm starting to believe it's my little girl :) And my placenta isn't close to my cervix, so hopefully this means no c section.. I'm so hopeless at all of this, i don't know anything about being pregnant and all these names and parts!!

:haha: its all a bit baffling first time round! That's what bnb is for though :)

I also have an anterior placenta, at first my wee boy's kicks where cushioned at the front of my tummy but I could totally feel them really hard at the sides, but now I'm 31 weeks and I can feel and even see him when he not just kicks but moves too! :D He does this thing a lot where he wiggles his bum about to get comfy and other people have noticed my tummy moving about like crazy too :haha:

So in my experience with an anterior placenta, at first it cushioned the blows a bit but when baba gets big enough the "cushioning" does NOTHING! lol my wee Liam kicks the hell out of me sometimes! :haha: x

ive got an anterior placenta too and only started to feel movement after 20 weeks. She's deffinatly making up for that now though lol :D As far as i know its not a problem xx
