I found out at about 14 weeks mine is anterior, I'm now about 18 weeks and still haven't felt the baby at all really. The odd time I think I feel something, but then figure it's just gas. Thus sucks, not being able to feel little kicks. Anyone else have this? And do u feel any movement at all?

I had an anterior placenta and it did limit the kicks I felt especially earlier on, at about 24 weeks kicks felt much stronger x

Guessing I've got the opposite problem, placenta at the back and baby kicking the shit out of me!! xxx

I had an anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until 22 weeks. But from then on the kicks got stronger and more frequent and by 32 weeks I was being beaten up daily by my daughter lol :)

I hope you feel your LO soon. The feeling you think is gas is probably your LO, you just don't realise it. I had the same thing. :flow: xx

Hahah me too - my whole stomach moves and rolls about - it wakes me up at night - crazy baby!

So glad you posted this. I remember the sonographer saying I would not feel the baby too early because of the position of the placenta--this was at the NT scan--but that it (the placenta) could move. I'll be 18 weeks Saturday and feel nothing. This is my 4th baby, so I really thought I'd be feeling those kicks by now :(. I was really beginning to worry, but this post reminded me of her saying that :). Hopefully, those kicks will kick-in for us very soon!!!

Ya, that's what my sonographer told me also at my nt scan, that it might mOve. But, I guess it could be worse and move to placenta previa! Jut wish my body qanat so ******** and put it in the wrong spot :p but no really, she said anywhere the placenta artaches is normal, except for in the cervix of course.

Me too. I had an anterior placenta with my first and it was at least 21 or 22 weeks before I really felt any movement. hang in there!
