Anti depressants?

Right where to start?

I am taking anti depressants and we are also ttc. My Husband has severe oligispermia so it is looking as though we will need IVF.

Have any of you had Ivf whilst being on AD'S?

Have any of you been refused Ivf whilst taking them?

I just want to suss out my chances of getting Ivf.

I'm desperate now. xx

i don't have an answer for you, but i didnt' want to read and run. i did a quick google search and most places are saying so long as you are willing to change to something that is safe for your baby while TTC , plus that is the advice I got about IUI should I still be on my antidepressants then. Good luck xx

Hi hun,

I'm on Prozac and if the IUI's don't work, we'll be going down the IVF route. And I'll still be taking Prozac during the IVF process.

I'm on Prozac. Thank God! It helped lift me out of my summer-long depression & has made me feel much more stable throughout the whole IVF process. I think I'd be a wreck if not for Prozac.
