Antibiotics?!

Does anyone know if antibiotics can play around with your cm etc?

I've been ill with the dreaded tonsillitis since Saturday and on antibiotics since Monday and I've had a bit of ewcm and then white but not at all stretchy cm today?! I have pcos so really hard to tell if/when I ovulate, I kinda thought I was about 8-9dpo as felt nauceous and ov pains back then but now I'm confused?!

Sorry to hear about the tonsillitis - I get that every so often, it's awful isn't it?

As for the antibiotics, I don't know if it affects cm (I'm guessing it might) but I do know that illness in general can affect ovulation?

I know that but I thought it might affect the 'fauna' down there if you know what I mean?

It does kill off beneficial bacteria (which is why yeast infections are often seen after a course of antibiotics). CM is produced by your body, though. It's likely that the infection overall is going to cause your ovulation to be delayed by a few days.
