My last menstrual cycle was Nov 29/09. On Dec 30/09, I took 2 hpt that are positive and I had my 1st Drs appt on Jan 5 where blood was taken to check HCG levels.

On Jan 7th I start cramping and then by that evening I was spotting lightly from light pink to almost a redish orange; however no clots or anything else. The cramping went away during the night but I was still spotting pink so I went to the ER early on friday Jan 8.

The doctors checked my HCG test from the 5 and said that from the HCG lvls they would put me at 3.5 to 4 weeks I was never given the actual numbers and to freaked out to ask; however on the day that the blood was taken I should have been 5 weeks along.

So ER DR takes more blood and sends it off and sends me for an ultrasound (both external and internal) at this point according to my last menstrual cycle I should be 5wks 5 days. They can find NOTHING at the ultra sound, they also check for ectopic because the only other time I have been able to conceive it was a tubal. No sac, nothing, they can't find anything thing in uterus or in tube.

They send me home, tell me to rest and to come back in if the spotting turns to bleeding or clots and if the cramping comes back, otherwise to call back later that day for the new HCG lvls and we can go from there.

Friday, Jan 10, I call for the results and all they say is that "we checked your lvls and they are increasing, call your DR and schedule another u/s in a week". I call my Dr and speak with the secretary where she says "oh we were just talking about you, the Chris wants to speak with you can we call you back?" (Chris is a nurse) and I was never called back. By friday night there was no more spotting.

My hubby and I have been TTC for almost 3 years, I'm very tired and scared. Plus any info I've tried to get from the DRs feel like pulling teeth. I don't know what to think at this point.

I've tried Google but that has me freaking out even more at this point since pretty much every where I turn says that there should be a gestational sac showing at this point.

Planning on calling the DR tomorrow and if they don't start talking to me, I will probably change Drs. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Could the baby still be OK????

:hugs: :hugs: no advice here hun just didnt want to read and run :hugs:

I was always told that a sac dose not show on a scan till your levels are over 1000. if they have said that your levels are showing you to be 3-4 weeks then it was 2 early to see anything. Keep chasing with your doctors.
