Does anyone know of any books having to do with the journey of TTC #1?

I am kinda new to all of this and feeling very overwhelmed... I went of BCP in offically in October 2010, was only taking it when I remembered from August to October... since I have been off the pill since October I have had 2 cycles. If I go by those I should have another cycle next Tuesday (the 14th)... but they are so irregular who knows when it will come... We have been to the doctor about my cycles... he says if we are not pregnant by December to go in, in January, and we will start tests and see what goes from there....

Just feeling overwhelmed.... anyone else in the same situation....

Hey ladybug! i dont know of any books, i just look online for info if i need it. but i went off BCP in october as well, and i got AF in jan and then light spotting in March, i went to the doctor last week had blood work and ultrasound and was just diagnosed todat with PCOS. i know all doctors are different, but maybe try going somewhere else? i know how frustrating it can be when AF is so irregular! good luck to you though! if you need to talk you can always msg me:hugs:

Taking charge of your fertility is a good book, I'm reading it now and it I teacing me a lot of things about my body ect.

I've been looking at What to Expect Before You're Expecting by Heidi Murkoff, mostly because I use the iPhone app and they sort of correlate. Yeah, its a part of that whole What to Expect series which is pretty popular, so hopefully reliable. Also, many women find Taking Charge of Your Fertilty by Toni Weschler to be an important tool while ttc. I personally haven't picked it up yet, but I may soon if another cycle goes by with a BFN.

Good luck!

I'm waiting on my What to Expect Before You're Expecting to arrive. I heard that it was a good book, also heard pretty good things about Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Hope you get some news about your wonky cycles soon!! :D :flow:
