Any other lady overdue?

Hello ladies,

I was wondering if I am the only one here that is over 35 and overdue. My little guy has a head of his own and He must love me so much that he does not want to leave my tummy. He is a mommas boy already . But is he does not come by this friday he is getting evicted next week. We will step up an induction. I am a little scared of the whole thing since this is my first baby.

Would love to hear if there are any other ladies here that are overdue or about to become overdue.

Was just thinking of you this morning..... hope you are feeling well.

Interestingly, I read an article over the weekend that for first time mom of boys, being overdue is common. The article stated that boys on average tend to hang around in hotel uterus an average of 6 days longer than girls.....I'll see if I can find it.

Hang in there and hopefully things will move along for you soon with no need for an induction!!!

That sounds like my little guy. Hanging at the 5 star hotel .

I am feeling miserable thanks to a cold that I got yesterday!!! So now I am overdue and with a cold!! But now I want the cold to be over first so I can have some strength to push this baby out. The doctor even prescribed zpack for me just in case is strep throat. But I think it is not just normal cold like symptoms.

How are you feeling? 5 weeks or less and it is your turn. Hope your baby is not overdue. Do you have everything ready for ?

Oh no! Im sorry about your cold, hope it passes soon, you sure do need all the strength and good health you can find these next few weeks.

I'm feeling good!! For the first time this week though I've really felt tired and achey and am starting to have a really hard time getting comfy to sleep, not to mention this crazy insomnia that I never had!!! But really cannot complain as it's been a very easy pregnancy for me so far.......but I'm ready for LO to make his appearance!

Lol, insomniacs unite!! I just woke up to pee about an hour ago and here I lay in bed still awake staring at the dogs and my iPad so I started another scrabble game lol!!! Yes, this is my first and I am also having a boy!!! I never ever had a problem sleeping this is all so crazy!!

Maybe we need to Zumba- to get things moving for you and to help me sleep!

Lol! I was awake for a while too. Go blue team!!!

Just got a phone call from the nurse and she told me that she set up my induction for tomorrow!!!! But i need to call tomorrow morning at 5 am to make sure there is no emergency in front of me. So hopefully this will be it for me !!! I will keep you posted. Epidural here I come.

Oh goodness!!! I can imagine you must have feelings of both relief and also of being terrified!!! Thoughts are with you and your LO for a quick and uneventful delivery...Try and get some rest today and keep us posted when you can.

Hi Gia,

Had my baby on march 1 st. It was a very scary birth but him and I are okay now. I posted our story at the third trimester thread.

Hope your baby boy will come soon, heathy and strong.
