Hi girls,
I know how you all feel, i been type 1 for 27 years now, and like i mentioned before i have 3 other healthy kids

. I must admit i wasnt even planing to get prego with any of my other kids. And when i did get prego, my levels were BAD!!!, I was abit of a silly diabetics, in the early days, doing all the things that i shouldnt do i did. And when i got preg, with them i had a job and an half to sort my diabetes out fast

.
I was very lucky with them all, and had 3 healthy babies, but im gonna be totally honest here, the word LUCKY!!! is the main word, as i was very very lucky. Its so important to keep those levels in the normal range as possible. Please i dont wanna scar you ladies

, but its important to know the facts, with high levels it can cause heart defects, and other development problems with the baby. Thats just the start, every week you gain being prego, count it as a massive blessing, as our bodies are like working not just double effort but 3 - 4 times harder than a healthy mum.
Never mentioned this b4 on this forums or my siggy, but i had 2 miscarriages, one at 13 weeks and the other at 16 half weeks, both due to bad control of diabetes, in the early days of pregnancy

.
Sorry to put such a dampy thing to the thread, but i feel its very important we all understand, how diabetes, can effect our babies and us to, while we are prego.
Otherwise part from all that, im sure we all will have happy and healthy pregnancy, with cute little sprogs at the end of
