Any SAHM teachers out there?

We've come to the realisation that until I head back part time to work in September I'm going to need to try and earn some pounds!! I'm a primary school teacher and just wondered if any others of you out there have found work marking examination papers or something such like? If so, could you give me some pointers on how to go about getting work, either doing this or anything else that you know of. My husband is also a teacher so potentially I could also do something during the school holidays.....any advice or suggestions would be hugely appreciated -

Stalking lol!! I guess you could offers private tuition eg catch up sessions for y6 sats? Marking exams is a good one though- wonder how you do that!

Exam boards usually recruit markers just after Christmas. I used to mark (secondary music) but found it very time consuming and not as lucrative as you'd think, and it all had to be done in May and June, when you just wanted to be going out for walks and sitting in the garden, not slaving away at a desk after a full day! I did it for 3 years then gave it up.

Look on exam board websites but I think you'll be a bit late for this exam period as they have a training day and moderation samples to do first before you are cleared to mark.
