Any success stories with using Pre seed?

hi there.

Been trying for 2.5 yrs for our first jelly bean.
the words 'pre seed' has been floating around for a while and i was wondering if there was anyone on this site that has concieved while using pre seed. i saw my doc today and asked her what it was all about. she wasnt to use about it so she called the fertility clinic while i was there. the lady on the other side of the phone said many of her patients use it. so it seems safe to use.

Hi WanaBe. I wasn't LTTC but conceived my LO on the first cycle and used preseed. It is very good if you do not get EWCM, as hostile cervical mucus can prevent sperm getting to its destination. I have been TTC my second child since June 2011, without using preseed and did get pregnant after 6 cycles but unfortunately miscarried. I have started to use preseed again, as I'm starting to think it did the trick for me.

It's certainly worth a try, there are many other ladies who have had success with it too.

Hi! It took my husband 12 mos to conceive #2. I know that isn't long here in the LTTC forum but thought I would share my story with you anyways.

We conceived the 2nd month using preseed. Along with preseed there are a few other things I did differently. I took Robitussion (the main ingrediant is guaifenesin-it is supposed to thin out your CM and give it a better quality) 7 days prior to ovulation. Then, even though this is an old wives tale, I laid with my hips up in the air for 15-20 minutes after we bd'd.

I did find with the preseed that you probably won't need to use the recommended dose. I did the first time and it was super messy and really annoyed OH. LOL!

well thats settled then.. i think i will deff try using it this cycle. we never tried any thing like this before. never used any type of lubes so maybe my CM isnt the best. thanks so much for your stories, made my decision easier

I was TTC for 3 years and got my BFP using pre-seed. I've only ever used it on a few cycles, some of which were unsuccessful but the last time I used it, I got my BFP and am now nearly 19 weeks pregnant x

I'm using pre-seed for first time i have been TTC for 2 years now and my AF is supposed to come 2day but she hasn't showed up yet and fingers crossed she doesn't i do hope i get my very first bfp and i wish the same for you! I know this thread is old but for people in my situation who come across this forum i shall post my results when i know for sure.

we have been TTC for over 2 years and this is the first time we used preseed, I do not have much hope as my hubby has super low sperm count but I thought I'll give it a try. after all I have tried almost everything else. I found it really awkward to use. plastic applicator is so painful to use, it's probably me but i simply couldn't get it in there. finger does not reach far enough, in the end i just put some on my hubby but i think most of it got lost at the entrance. in any event will update you after 2WW.

Wow you are sure making sure you get those vitamins in!!, I'm about to do the same because I think something wrong with me. I know hubby got good sperm, due to he got five kids with his ex! Im also using pre seed last cycle got nothing :,-( so I'm really hoping it works this month as I've been ttc for two years. I've also picked up some conceive plus goodluck

I have been on these vitamins for over 8 months but it has not changed anything for us mainly because it is probably male issue. Now I am making sure hubby is taking his lot. But most important thing for us is for him to give up his beer, I think if anything can help us this would be it.
