Hi everyone.

I'm new here. I have a 1 year old baby boy who is the light of my life. We're ready to start trying for a little sibling. We got pregnant very easily with our DS. Second "try" so to say. :) My cycles was long before that pregnancy (typically about 33-35 days) but with OPK tests, it was very clear. I tried charting last time with oral temps that were so wildly inconsistent that I gave up and as it turned out we got pregnant fast.

Since my cycles kicked back in about 6-7 months ago, they've been more "normal" or closer to 28-30 days. So I expected to O on day 16 or so.

Well, it's day 23 and FF still says "ovulation not detected." At a quick glance at my chart, my O looks so obvious, but there's 1 tiny day off that doesn't make sense. I started OPKs on day 12 and started testing twice day on day 17. I got a smiley on my clearblue easy opk on day 18. The OPK was negative again on day 19. But, my temp chart is tricky. I have a clear temp spike the day before my first positive OPK. I've had a cold for the past week.

Now, with all that buildup, can anyone offer some suggestions on what's up with my O date this month?

Thanks! Look forward to starting the journey with you all!

That's really weird.. Are your settings on the default/recommended?

Also it may be because the temp rise is an open circle. Change the time to your usual time and see if that gives you crosshairs

Wow, thanks for the quick replies!

I am set on the default/advanced settings.

I did change the open circle back to my default time (I took it an hour later than normal that morning from accidentally oversleeping) but that didn't change anything except the open circle itself. :(

Could being sick change my temp so significantly and in such an ovulation type pattern?

Yes being sick can raise your temperature. If you have that marked under specific that could be what's keeping you from getting crosshairs. xx
