Anybody changed their tax credits from monthly to weekly?

I've just changed mine from monthly to weekly to help our budgeting. I'm due a monthly payment tomorrow which the guy says I'll still get and the weekly thing will be processed soon. However he couldn't tell me when that will go into effect and I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it could take. Also, with me getting a monthly payment tomorrow, do the tax credits run a month behind? For example, the money I'm getting tomorrow, is that for four weeks just past? Just wondering when to expect it to change and how it may be affected as I get a monthly payment tomorrow?

Yes it is paid in arrears so the money you get will be for the 4 weeks just past

How long before you get your weekly payment should be next week, possibly the week after, but either way you will still have it before you would have open monthly iykwim so it should help the budgeting

When I changed mine I think it changed straight away. I was due a monthly payment so got that Nd then the weekly payments started the week after
