Anybody else do the clomid estrogen progesterone combo?

My dr wants me to start this next month. It will be my 3rd clomid month. He said it has a higher success rate as the estrogen and progesterone prepare your body to accept the egg.

I haven't tried it, or even heard of it.

How does it work? You take estrogen until you ovulate and then the progesterone, along with the Clomid in the beginning of the cycle.

Yes I don't have the schedule with me but it's clomid days 3-7, then estradiol for 8 or so days, then progesterone.

I just posted about this. I'm taking
Clomid 50 mg once a day: Days 3-7
Estradiol twice a day: Days 8-12
Prometrium 400 mg once a day: Days 16-?

Maybe we should be buddies....

Yes! I posted a couple of others on this but got no responses. I'm honestly scared of new medicines so I'm very nervous. What cd are you on now? This cycle should be over next Wednesday, but hopefully it's a BFP and I won't even have to start it. Did your dr explain why these medicines would be good?

My progestrone was 5.4 at 6 dpo day 21. WHich is really low. He recomments the estrogen because clomid tends to decrease the amount he estrogen your body produces. It also give you better CM. I should start my period on Monday. Tuesday at the latest.
I'm 10 DPO and day 25.

I'm 9 or 10 dpo and cd 25. Fertility friend says 9dpo but they changed it in the beginning so I'm not sure. My first progesterone was 0.4 but after 2 months of clomid, they called today and it was 34.9! So now I'm wondering if he still thinks I should do the progesterone, the nurse says yes but I'm not so sure.

I have read many people who have used clomid and progesterone combo. And they have high sucess. It makes since with adding the estrogen. Just make sure you do what you feel comfertable with. If you need someone to talk to PM me.
