Anybody get a tattoo then shortly after find out that you're pregnant?

Hey ladies! :wave:

Im back, well NTNP (but its so difficult to not TTC when i did everything possible when TTC my 1st, temping, opks etc). Anyways, i have a very small tattoo booked in next Thurs on my finger and as I knew when i ovulated this month (get very painful ov pains and we just happened to DTD during that time...) I guess that puts me in the TWW.... So now im worried,

Would it affect anything? Has anybody had a tattoo done then found out you were expecting? If so, was everything ok? Xx

I got a tattoo of some stars on my back around a week and a half before I got my bfp with DS 3. I think the main issue is infection so as long as it's not become infected and the place you went to was clean and used new needles every time etc then everything should be fine. There were no ill effects for my son.

i have had tattoos whilst breastfeeding and its fine, i am a tattooist and i would only advise you make sure you don't get an infection and you keep a close eye on the tattoo. i am currently designing the rest of my sleeve for when this baby get evicted, exciting stuff! its a design of an octopus BTW

I did i had one about 2 days before i found out, sadly i had a mc but i dont belive for one second that it was connected, as pp said its probs just for risk of infection x

I had my whole upper thigh done and i got my bfp 3 days after they were dont with it the baby will be fine

Thanks ladies! i hadnt even thought about it, it was hubby that said and im going with my sis as we are having a matching one and i darent opt out coz i dont want to tell anybody that we are trying again. But obviously i would have done if Id thought i would cause serious harm. Thanks ladies xxxxxxx
