Anybody got a mamas and papas star lite swing?

I've just bought one from ebay, turned up brilliantly packaged in original box, even in the polythene still! But, I cant get the lights to work.. I've tried new batteries, and the canapy power light comes on, but no lights!?

Just wondering before I complain to the seller, does it need rechargables or anything rather than standard batteries?

I just have standard triple A batterys in the canopy and mine works fine. I'd complain if the power light is coming on but the lights arent.

Have you tried both the different light buttons? You could talk to mamas and papas. They might be able to send you a replacement canopy or something? Is the canopy attached to the 2 holes on the sides? Not sure if that makes a difference although ive just noticed mine is slightly out on one side

Yes I've tried both the functions, and turning it up/down and did try attatching it to the swing incase that made a difference

I just had a quick look on their website to see if they do replacement parts, but I cant see anything. Maybe I'll give them a call! Ive asked the ebay seller for a partial refund so I can hopefully pay to get it fixed if I cant get a replacement part!
