Hi, i'm 35+5 today and drawing closer to the end.

At my booking in appointment i was told my due date was 15th nov making me 35+5 weeks,
However i then had an early scan at 17 weeks and the specialist told me my due date was actually the 8th November which would make me 36+5 weeks.

Ever since they have been going back and forth with the dates and the baby is weighing over and above both dates (over 7lb currently) due to Gestational Diabetes diagnosed at 29 weeks.

Has this happened to anybody else? what was the outcome? did they take the earliest date and count 10 days from there as over due? i don't want to end up going really far over my dates and the baby grow so big that its not healthy.

They'll go by your scan EDD as that is more accurate.

My original due date was 22nd October, by LMP. My scan said 14th October and that's the date everyone has worked to.

Yes from my LMP, my EDD was 1st Dec. But scan dates it as 11th Dec and all my notes go by the 11th. I'd had a loooong cycle!

My issue is that the 2 dates came from the hospital, i suffered from PCOS so i had no cycle dates to go by i only had the 12 weeks scan claiming due date was 15th nov and then the fetal scan at 17 weeks advising it was the 8th november.

My 20 week scan confirmed 8th nov as the date but at last appointment 33 weeks they are reverting back to the first date giving at 12 weeks 15th nov even though the baby is weighing over an above both of these dates (he is off the weight chart they have given me)

sorry for the confusion, my head is spinning with it which is why i wondered had this happened to anybody else? and if so when were you classed as over due?

I'd ring your MW/consultant and ask them. They're certainly not going to let you go hideously overdue and also baby will come out when ready. It's not like he/she will be in there forever without medical intervention. Thank goodness :haha: I'd definitely ask one of your care providers to clear this up for you :)
