Anybody have a c-section due to previous tears?

I hope you don't mind me posting in this section, but I think I might get more answers here!

I've just had my LO five weeks ago. I had very bad tears resulting in a trip to theatre and needing a blood transfusion. Afterwards a midwife said this would probably affect my options for any future births. I didn't ask anything more as at that moment in time all I could think was that I was not having anymore! Now, a few weeks later, I wish I had asked and I will ask the doctor at my PP check. I'm just wondering if anybody has had a c-section as a result of previous tears?

I've just had a c-section following a 3rd degree tear with my 1st. To be honest, I have felt really sore up until now, but am in very little pain nearly 7 weeks on and very glad I did it. I was in pain for quite a while after my tear!

I requested a c section with LO following 3rd degree tear with ds1. My consultant was happy with my request and it was a wonderful experience I wouldn't hesitate to do it again (although no plans AT ALL for anymore kids )
