Anybody young and pregnant after a loss??

Loula bump- I think my Mum is most shocked that she has to be called Gran at 44! haha! was trying to think up a name for baby to call her without her sounding so old! I know that will make her feel better! haha! Yeah Dad still sees me as his little girl, ive always been a Daddys girl and I know he will be dissappointed again!

Shabutie- My Dad asked me that too! How did you explain it? I went bright red when he asked and was like omg Dad are you serious! Haha! Also the same, OH's family arent the most supportive. His Mum is African and believes that we should be married before we have children! When she got told the last time she just said "So when is the wedding|?" and we were like "Ummm.. maybe in about 8 years or soo!" Haha! She was angry the last time because he quit college so he could work more and provide for Harvey, she kicked him out for this. This time he is going to college and working full time so hopefully this will keep her happy! I am also planning on going to college part time (Evening course) Fingrers crossed it all works out!

eclipse_xo- Thats a shame about ur grandmother and ur dad but at least you have your mums side of the family! Any form of support group is ideal i think!

I told my mum literally seconds after my mmc that we wanted to try again. When she saw how much it upset me she knew what it meant to me so this time she's been good about it. Even been buying baby stuff. 6 months ago when i told her the first time i never ever thought she'd be happy about it.

Well i did think about that but when i first told her i was preggy the first thing she said was that she would take me to the doctor to.. well... you know what I was gutted and told her id already made my decision. I knew that if i said i wanted to try again she would try her hardest to change my mind xxx

Defo bump buddies now babe. Got put forward a week today so now due 8th February. Had a great scan today - saw bubs clapping. It was so so sweet.

My mum was 19 when she had me and twenty when she had my sister just 13 months later. Im so glad that she had me so young cos she died very young herself and Im gratefull for the time I had with her. Life is for grabbing with both hands and running with the happiness you can grab. This is the right thing for you to do - enjoy your pregnancy - after losing harvey you deserve it. Mums always want the best for their kids - its just sometimes they dont know whats best and they have their own ideas.

Oohh now we have the same due date! Although i have another scan soon so mines might change, i quite like the sound of the 8th of february though. Im a loser and like even numbers! hahaha!Pregnancy is making me ocd i swear! Okay ur going in my signature xxxx

hi all im 21, planned pregnancy at 19-20 and lost at 9weeks 3days through MMC, fell pregnant again at 20 and miscarried at 8weeks 3 days naturally, im now 7weeks, 4 days really could do with some friends on here around my age going through same sort of experiences and possibly bump buddies??? im due 8th april THIRD TIME LUCKY I HOPE

So sorry to hear about your loss.

I first got pregnant just after turning 20 but sadly lost our angel in May 09 at 12 weeks, It was the most heartbreaking experience of my life, plus it was a pretty traumatic experience in hospital. I knew straight away that i wanted to get pregnant again, it took us 8 months to get there, but here i am nearly 33 weeks with a little girl :] Its been a nerve wrecking pregnancy and had a few problems but i feel soooo blessed to be here and wish all the luck in the world to the other woman who are in early pregnancy after a loss xx

I'm not young anymore and it's 12 years since my loss but I just wanted to post as I had my dd1 at 18 after a difficult loss from an unplanned pregnancy and remember both the urgent need to be pregnant again and the fear that I felt throughout my whole pregnancy. In fact, even now I won't be happy until THIS baby is in my arms. So best of luck, the best thing about the situation is the pure joy and luck you feel in everything related to your baby. I never grudged her a second
