Anybosy esle having IVF at Herts and Essex IVF Clinic?

Hiya everyone

The nurse is sending off my referral for to Herts and Essex after my appointment today. Just wondered if anyone else goes there? Would love to hear about your experiences

Hi silarose,
i had 2 cycles at Herts&Essex-1st cycle was ivf,2nd was icsi which recently resulted in a BFP.
I can't say anything but good things about the clinic-They are friendly,organized,efficient,and flexible.
They are a little on the expensive side,but they have very good success rates and are very experienced,especially with blastocysts.

hi cant comment on the ivf but we we were going to have iui at the essex center....didnt end up needing it either but from the open evening & 1st consultation we went to we were very happy with the proffessionalism of the center....shame it is so expensive tho!!! good luck, hope it works for you x

It's amazing. I only went to see my fertility nurse yesterday and I got a call from the Oxford clinic today saying that I would get my first consultation within 2-4 weeks!!!! WOW!

Mwmm - I'm so pleased to hear your story - it's success stories that I want to hear from now on. Did you change your lifestyle at all to get your BFP?

No changes at all,our problem was down to a very complex biochemical one which resulted in very low fertilization rates,we just got lucky second time round, however,as always,it's important to eat a healthy and balanced diet,especially if you undergo ivf.
Really happy that you have your first consultation so soon!-You will be bursting with excitement as the date draws nearer,i can remember how excited and anxious i was to get going with the treatment.

You are soright - I feel really excited! Oh I soooo hope this works!

I have got my first appontment on 17th May and the lady I spoke to seems to thinks we can get going really soon after that - just depends on my cycle! Not looking forward to the drugs but it will hopefully be worth it in the end!
