Bought a present today for DD2s birthday in December, kids got super excited in Home Bargain to see the Halloween/Christmas decorations. .

It's great seeing all the old names pop back up when it gets to this time of year.
I've just bought my first present this week, I'm not sure if it'll be for BIL at Christmas or his birthday in October, it was only 75p from shien but its a badge that says 'my farts hospitalise small children'

Bought a new Christmas tree for DD2 as hers is broken. Still £45 in John Lewis but nabbed it for £10 brand new from Vinted! I've been selling all of my woodland theme decs on there hoping to find something else I like.

It's so addictive. I just scroll through it but it's like how Primark maths used to be - £2 + £4 + £1.50 = £80 Makes it even worse that I live a couple doors away from the parcelshop. I'm going to use it a lot this Christmas to try budget more.

Aw no even worse to easy to grab them haha. No it really is like primark maths. It's like a black whole of bargains haha and it's all really good stuff as well. I've already started for Christmas from vinted x

hello ladies I was just thinking of you all and thought I would pop in to see if anyone’s around. I think i’m on a bit late this yr lol
Hope you are all well!
We have been doing lots of traveling around the west coast of the US so will be a bit of a slimmer Christmas this yr.
Going to start picking up the bits slowly though so I don’t have to think too much later! Also have my son’s birthday soon (his 20th!! ) and my youngest 12th birthday in Dec.
I look forward to hanging out with you all again this year!!

This is my first year having both kids non believers. Kind of bittersweet very sad that era has come to an end but knowing there will be none of the pressure to have everything fully magical or doing the elves is actually quite nice haha!
Feel I can get fully in Christmas mode now my youngests birthday is out of the way. He was only small when I started coming on the Christmas pages and he just turned 12 today. Crazy!

I can't wait to start getting in for Christmas in a couple of weeks time. Oh that's heartbreaking I have an almost 18 year old and found it felt so wrong but I also have a 6yo 1yo and a 5week old and I can't think about it its seeing the magic of it all in there little eyes and excitement that gets me don't no what I'll do when the younger 3 are non believers lol

Mum21boy1girl wow, 20! It's crazy where the years go isn't it? My eldest will be 19 a few week after Christmas. I miss when they were all babies.

I now get the phrase 'enjoy them while they young while you can' now that I have an almost 18yro it's scary just how quick they grow up in the blink of an eye.

I’m trying to think of new ideas to still be in the festive spirit but in a more teenage approved way haha!
I still want to do a North Pole breakfast even if they hate it hahaha!

Mine are 12 and 10 and non believers but we still have to do the elves, Christmas eve boxes, track santa etc.
My youngest did say to me last week she doesn't think its going to be as fun so we have to make sure it is. I wish she had kept believing a little longer but she is to savvy and just gathered it was all make believe
