Anyone been on holiday just you and LO?

How was it?

I really want to take Maisie to peppa pig world next year for her birthday. Its a while away from me so would have to be a weekend thing. Ive just never took her somewhere out of my hometown on my own, that far away from anyone i know. even though its only a weekend :S

I know i just need to pluck up the courage to do it but i think ill actually love it once ive done it as usually my mum and dad are always with us!

I live 45 minutes from Peppa Pig World.

I am you would be ok. I am like you, if I dont want to do something I normally have someone for support, last night I went to a Rosemary Conley diet class last night on my own which I have never done so yeah once you have done it I am sure you would love it.

I don't care how far in debt I am when tax season is done I am using my tax refund and taking the boys to Disney World. Just me and them. A reward for being good little boys while I study for the CPA exam and then put in a 60 hour work week for 3.5 months.

I'm not a mom, but my mother was a single parent and used to take me on long weekends to the beach when I was a tot. Later, she would take me crab fishing and we would eat hot dogs for lunch.

I've never been I was going to take them at the end of the month but got made redundant so between appointments here there and everywhere I had to cancel. Hopefully will get to take them soon though

Its nice to know that its not far for when you do want to go though ! I really wanted to take Maisie to the christmas wonderland there but i priced up hotels on the site and they are so expensive for fri-sun gutted. Definately going to go sometime next year though !

Try a little further into surrey and see if they are cheaper. Like a travelodge or a private B&B usually you can get yourself a bargain. Do you drive?

Nope i dont drive hun it would be a train job for us. Ill have to have a search around. Do you know off the top of your head any local bnb's travel lodges ect? xx

There is a travelodge 10 miles away from Paultons Park. Its about 20 minutes in the car. A cab could take you there
If you google hotels and B&B's near Paultons Park you should get loads.
