wow that doesn't sound normal.

I bleed from my bum when I have strained for a bowel movement and ruptured some haemorrhoids (sorry TMI) but not just random bleeding for no apparent reason.

I'd go and have a word with your midwife if I were you, given that your doctor can't find any problem. And have them do an iron count check to make sure you're not anaemic as a result of all that bleeding.

Ya. First Thing I thought of was maybe a fissure or a burst hemmeroid?? You need to keep going till someone finds out what's wrong. If your tired its absolutely possible your becoming anaemic!! I would go to an ER or get a second oppinion

I've had a bit of blood when it's too hard, but still comes out brown, then a bit of red when I wipe. I would say if it's almost all red, then something is really wrong. Can he send you to a GI specialist to look into it. You'll get way too anemic if you keep losing blood through your GI system.

Omg that sounds extremely serious and scary!!! You need to see a GI specialist I can't believe your doctor hasn't referred you to one. Sorry if my post seems kinda pushy but I'm worried for you! :hugs: best of luck to you and I hope you figur out what's wrong ASAP.

You need to go back to the doctor. Go back to a different doctor and explain your symptoms. Do not take no for an answer. You must get yourself checked out. As the PP says, sorry to sound pushy, but this is just a little too close to home for me. You must be seen to have it confirmed that it is something normal like a ruptured hemorrhoid.

Are you constipated or have piles? I would seek medical advice asap :)

Your GP can only see external haemorrhoids or internal ones close to the opening of your anus so I suspect you may have internal haemorrhoids further north. You need referred to a GI specialist but in e meantime you could try some over the counter cream that you insert as opposed to just rubbing externally.

You may well be anaemic due to blood loss but hold off iron tablets at the moment as they can cause hard stools and constipation which will make haemorrhoids worse!

Good luck
