Anyone else 10 dpo??

Thank you!!! You absolutely will. I am so excited for you. I had thee absolute worst doctors appointment today. This new doc was terrible!!! Refused to give me an U/S. How much sense does that make? I finally talked her into it and she referred me out, instead of walking to the room next door to do it herself. I was so stressed about it. But I am going to make an appointment for the place she referred me to and switch doctors...again. SHe gave me a prescription for Provera. I am more of a natural type of person. Anyway, I can't wait until you get your BFP!!! It will be great. Baby dust baby dust!!!

:hugs:

Sorry about the doctor. I had a series of bad docs a couple years ago and it's so frustrating. I know when I had mine they wanted to wait until after my period, when the lining is the thinnest. Why did she say you didn't need an ultrasound? At least she could explain it to you. Some doctors act like you don't have a right to understand what they're doing or why. I'm sure everything will be okay.

What's provera? Looks like you're taking some steps :) Good luck!

I went to a different doctor yesterday and he gave me an ultrasound right away. I told him about how the women didn't and he said "was she in a rush?" He looked very confused because it was a very poor choice for her to make. I am on progesterone to stop the bleeding and I also have clomid. I have not decided whether I will take the clomid because of things I hear about the link to Autism. I am trying pregnitude this month!! I started yesterday. It is suppose to be excellent for egg health.

How are things coming along with you?

Hi ready. Glad you got some satisfaction. When do you find out the results?

Things are okay for me, going by pretty slowly. Fortunately work is busy. I'm 5 dpo/dpiui and I'm getting the feeling I usually get before AF. So hard to explain, when I do I sound crazy. It's a physical feeling, that spreads up to my throat. I'd like to think it's a symptom, but I'm on so many meds I feel like a walking pharmacy  The last two days I couldn't finish my cup of morning coffee. I just didn't want it, which is weird because I'm usually starting on my second cup before I'm awake enough to think about what I want!

Also having a doozy of a time dealing with health insurance. DH changed jobs and we switched onto my company's insurance, but now they're saying that I had to send in the paper work before he lost insurance, but I couldn't sign on until I lost my insurance. :dohh: And of course it's the first month where you need to have insurance, so I'm worried about getting a fine... Worried about getting worried, trying not to care. We'll see how that works out for me. Sorry to be a debbie downer, but needed to vent.

I had to end up buying an individual plan and I love it. It is very expensive monthly so I try to really take advantage of it during the month. I bet you are worried and stressed and maybe emotional. I know it has something to do with the meds. Our medication can change our entire personality lol and we would not even realize. I have been sleeping all day long probably because of this progesterone. I am still bleeding. I completely hate this.

I can't remember if i told you or not but I have some Clomid right here ready to go. I have not decided whether or not to take it because I have not done enough research. DH is leaning against not taking it because he is worried about the side effects.

With the IUI what day would you test? I really really hope this is it for you :hugs: that would be fantastic! And no symptom is crazy, we are all different so we have different things happen. Keep in mind that a lot of times period symptoms do not mean you are not pregnant. And it seems way too earlier for it to be a period symptom unless it always happens around 5dpo. Good luck!! I am here for you!

Hi ready! As for clomid, I can only go by what my doctor said. He said he's personally a little biased against it, because it can sometimes hurt as much as it help. I didn't want to play around with estrogen because of the polyps, and he said in some people it increases estrogen, and in other people decreases it. He's a very scientific doctor (he's also a researcher at a university) so he is up on the latest research. On the other side, more follicles means a better shot each month. I found a fantastic website that sums up the research (it's about IUI and miscarriage, but it has some good info):

https://sites.google.com/site/miscarriageresearch/iui-success-rates

Thanks for all the support. I think I'll cheapie test Sunday on, but I have an appointment for a blood test on the 17th. I have to say, fewer decisions is not a bad thing.

Thank you for that info!! Many doctors are not honest and they always prescribe it to women. I appreciate your doctors honesty. If by Mon my bleeding has not stopped or is showing a vast improvement I am going right back to the doctor. I can't wait until you test!! I bet fewer decisions are great. :dust::dust:

Hello ladies!! I feel so close to you guys. I am so happy we can all talk. Therefore, when I find out new information I will always share. I am going to begin acupuncture next week.

I feel it is time to try something new. And since I am a firm believer in alternative medicines I am very excited to begin this new journey!!! I will keep you guys posted on results. So far I have been reading great things about it.

Hi lady!!! Glad to hear back form you. Yea that is not far way. Maybe in the meantime you can make your eggs as healthy as possible!! Look into pregnitude, it is suppose to be fantastic for egg health!! You might as well have the healthiest eggs possible when it is time. Keep us posted!

Glad to hear we have our first BFP!! That is so beautiful. Well hello everyone. My bleeding has STOPPED! I was on progesterone and it did nothing. My doctor told me to stop after I had been taking it about 7days because the bleeding was not slowing down at all. I mean I had to take iron pills because I was losing so much blood DAILY.

I had my very first acupuncture appointment last thursday. The following night on friday my bleeding slowed all the way down I was so shocked. Sat, it slowed even more. Sunday, today, it turned brown and has seemed to stop completely..except for a drop here and there of old blood!!! :happydance::happydance: I can't put it into words how happy I am.

Unfortunately I can't say it was the acupuncture %100. But, I am pretty confident it was because the progesterone had not done anything, granted it may have taken a little while longer to work.

I go back for my second appointment on thursday and I can't wait. By the time I left I felt very goofy from being soooooooo relaxed. I felt like the joker type of smile lol it was great. It wasn't a medicated feeling, just a nice natural feeling.

I have read many success stories of women getting BFP's very soon after beginning acupuncture. You guys should check it out!! Also, electroacupuncture is great for PCOSers! (so I have read) I guess I will find out in the next few months.

Hi ready! Glad to hear you are back on board. I'm sorry you've had such a tough month. I was just reading about acupuncture and thinking I should try it out. Work is pretty stressful now. Glad to hear you've had a positive experience :)

Heading in for baseline ultrasound tomorrow. Last month I was so excited to be trying IUI. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll be more into it.

That is a good idea ready4number1. I'll have a look into it. Thank you :)

I definitely recommend it!! I had my second appointment yesterday and by the time it was done and the needles were about to come out I felt like a bean inside of my body, like I was just knocking around or floating around in it. I was so light and extreeeeeemelyyyyy relaxed! It was amazing!

Hello all!! I hope everyone is doing well and staying positive. I know it can be hard for us when we want that BFP so bad.

Well, I had my second acupuncture treatment yesterday and I felt absolutely amazing!!! I can't stress that enough. I felt like I was floating around. I was so relaxed I would have sworn she slipped me something lol. But it did not feel like a medicated, pain killer type of feeling. It felt completely natural. Siiiigh, I am hooked already and can't wait to go back next thursday.

I am trying to stay with my original cycle dates so tomorrow I will hopefully be 1dpo. During the bleeding I did get burning nipples and swollen breasts even before I started progesterone. I also still felt some AF type of cramps.

The bleeding is related to PCOS and I do not have any more polyps which is great news for me!

Even better news is that I noticed EWCM wed and I was due for ovulation today (friday). I had my regular sneezing today, normally sneeze around O, along with a very strange electrical sensation through my left areola. And more EWCM today (friday). Lol so who knows!!

I will keep everyone posted about my acupuncture. Fingers crossed for all!

:happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance:

Fingers crossed ready!! The acupuncture sounds great :)

I can't wait to be back!! :(
