As title says I am 29 weeks and getting braxton hicks daily and usually at night. I drink lots which gets rid but then the constant peeing starts them up again grrrrr

I'm 27 weeks and I've been getting them since about 16 weeks, but this last week has been ridiculous. I have the same problem with drinking too, the tiniest bit of bladder filling triggers them off and if you're busy at work (which also starts them) you cant go pee every seconds.
Is your bump small? Mine is small on the outside at least, although the doc says my uterus is really high, I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Well there goes that theory!!
I will think of you next time my uterus turns into a rock! Good luck!

I started getting these last week (first one happened in the doctors waiting room funnily enough).

I find mine quite painful so it's not a great feeling. Lucky I finish work Friday I guess!

I had a few last night, I'd just said to OH if I have another I was going to hospital because it actually started to hurt - not just uncomfortable. Then baby did a huge hard kick and they stopped. I lay down, and my nose started to bleed. I wasn't impressed. Midwife checked me over this morning and everything seems ok though. Joys of pregnancy eh :)

Mine dont hurt but I get pressure so that's horrible. If I hate these imagine me in labour haha

Lol god help us. I just don't like the tightness of them, and I think it was cramp in my back that panicked me and triggered the pain, but I've put that down to baby changing position, his head has been up for a good few weeks, and now his feet are in my ribs, I guess he just did it awkwardly lol :) at least the cervix kicks have stopped!

I've had them since about 20 weeks. Get them a LOT and I also got them a lot with my last pregnancy. Towards the end I used to get hooked up to monitor at assessment unit cause they were so frequent but not painful like contractions just uncomfortable. I had my first baby 9 days early.

x

Yep, mine have been driving me crazy! The pressure is pretty crazy. I feel like I cannot breathe well much at all when it happens and it sets off my heart too! I get them loads but, luckily, it's never changed into anything painful so as long as I know no harm comes from them, I'll just shush and try not to complain too much. They sure are way more annoying than I expected though! :haha:

I was wondering if I was supposed to go to hospital but I have had them like this for weeks and not gone into labour yet

i've been getting them since about 22 weeks, last night was the first time i had one at night and was so uncomfortable i get that can't breathe feeling and pressure it is horrible, gets me in a panic sometimes

Braxton hicks are completely healthy and normal! I have been getting them since 9 weeks pregnant and very frequently. They can get uncomfortable at times but I actually enjoy them...I know, I'm weird lol. The only part of them I don't like is that it makes it hard to breath in each BH...which is normal too.

I've been getting these on and off but they are happening all the time now!
I didn't get one with my first pregnancy but this time I'm making up for it!
If I try and do anything they start. Clean the toilet, pick up toys, spend more than 20 mins on feet! They are starting to become quite painfull/ uncomfortable now!
Driving me mad!

Mine are like that nicki and I am only 29 weeks! Will mention it to consultant tomorrow

What does it feel like? Just today I've been getting tight-like menstrual cramping along my pelvic line and a wee bit in my back-not timed, lasted for ages, but went away when I had a trot round the office-totally gone completely now :nope:

I've been having so many the last couple of weeks! They keep me up at night! They aren't painful or anything but I have A LOT of pressure. My dr gave me a FFN test last week to make sure I wont be going into labor soon and it came back negative, I will be having another one next week. My cervix is soft but isn't dilating so thats good :) I get paranoid every time they start up though!

I get paranoid too but I asked consultant today and she said it all sounded fine
