Anyone else experience spotting day of AF then got BFP

Hope someone can help, me and hubby are ttc #2 we actively tried every day around approx ovulation 2 weeks ago, af was due yesterday went to toilet in aft wiped and there it was pinky discharge, popped in tampon thinking it was start of af, but had no cramping took it out hours later to find the smallest bit of brown and had nothing since?!? Im so confused and currently on holiday abroad not near to a pharmacy? Did anyone have this and ended up being pregnant x

I had a little brown discharge around the day AF would have been due, but already knew I was pregnant and it stopped right away. Apparently a little breakthrough bleeding is somewhat common in the first few months around period time. So you definitely have a chance! Fingers crossed that when you're able to test, you get your BFP!

With my daughter I had red bleeding, cramps AND a negative hpt the day af was due. I assumed it was af and didn't think anything of it until the next morning when there was no more blood. It was still a negative hpt so I was kinda confused but the next day I got a positive and now I have a healthy 23 month old.

Thank you for your replies! I was due on yesterday still not arrived ended up getting a bus into centre and bought 2 tests, just done it mid aft and a stark negative. Going to try again in morning but I'm not confident. I'm like clockwork usually though. But the test is spanish and cant tell the hcg ml googled it and it's all in Spanish. Hopefully either I'll get the positive to make my hol or af will show! X

This exact thing happenes to me. Slight spotting on a wednesday then nothing till saturday where i bleed a little, again it stopped then wednesday i decided to take a pregnancy test and come straight up. Maybe test again in a couple of days. Good luck xx

I had a full 5 days of brown light bleeding from my AF due date. I thought my af was just off that month but then after it finished my bbs kept getting sorer and sorer I took a hpt a week later and got 2 very strong positives! So yeah I definitely had a lot of spotting when af was due.
