Anyone else got their gender scan in next few days?

I had my anomaly scan yesterday & we found out we are having another little girl. I really thought it was a boy & so did everyone else lol

I'm the opposite- DH and I would love another girl...DH doesn't want a boy at all....so it'll be an adjustment for us if it is a boy.

Our scan is on Friday. Totally wanted to stay team yellow but DH was not having that. Now I just can't wait to know DH and I both think it is a girl but I want a boy. Feel blessed as long as he or she is healthy and growing though

Zeri, I'm absolutely thrilled. I would have been so excited for a boy, as it would have been nice to have a little boy, but if I'm perfectly honest, i was probably slightly hoping for another girl! OH is a little bit gutted, but he loves his girls and is still really excited. I think he just feels a bit outnumbered! Me and my 2 sisters had 3.4yrs between us (so an even smaller range than my girls will have) and I absolutely adored it. We all had so much fun and my mum absolutely loved it.

So yeah, I'm over the moon

Had our gender reveal party last night....we have a girl!!!! Neither one of us could be happier! We both preferred girl, but were planning on boy, so when the cake was pink, we were shocked!!
Soooo happy right now!!

Very pleased for you! Had a good scan this morning (team yellow) but we are being referred for a cardio scan because of our family history, though they havent seen anything to worry them tho. Apparently they should have already referred me! All booked in so I will see baby again a week Friday!

Ours is a girl! Yeah! But I have to go back for another ultrasound in a month because my placenta is partially covering my cervix and they are hoping it moves up. No sex or yoga for a month. Boo

Reggie, my cervix is also low, and have to go back at 32 weeks. I wish they'd have told us 'no sex' lol!

Don't worry about a low lying placenta. I had a marginal placenta previa with my first daughter and went back at 28 weeks and it had moved out of the way. They almost always do.

Thanks guys. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it moves up. The Dr. didn't seem overly concerned but today is 20 weeks exactly and it is covering the cervix so they want to check it again in a month. I think the no sex is because it isn't just low, it's actually covering a bit. But I haven't had any bleeding, not even spotting the entire pregnancy so they were just being cautious I think. But sadly, I will be cautious with them. Thanks for the good stories though. It helps.

Just had my scan and dropped off the envelope for my boss to make my cake!! I can't wait til tmrw!! The baby had it's legs crossed at first so I had to do jumping jacks and touch my toes to make it move and open up it's legs! Lol. Such a modest little baby!
