I have a bit of a weird one with O2, I was checking my bank statement this morning and I noticed my phone bill hadn't gone out. So I had a live chat conversation with O2 who have said my bill was paid on 8th December (which is the date the dd was due) my account has been credited and no problems with my account. I just checked my bank statement again and the have not taken the money :shrug: - it's £82 thats the only reason I checked my statement was because I had too much money :wacko:. Anyone else had this with them this month or before?
 
With direct debits, it can say it's been paid a few days before it actually has been paid if that makes sense? Unless it bounces the company don't know it hasn't been paid until a few days later
 
Thank you. I used to work for a bank and know this can happen, so I have given my bank a call and apparently O2 haven't even requested it..... Yet!
 
It happens with our sky bill every single month, it says paid on their website a few days before it leaves the account. Even if it bounces it even says paid until 2-3 days later when sky find out the direct debit has been returned
 
Yeah it happens with our Sky bill too, but they have normally requested it as a dd takes 3 days to work its way thru' the system. It's just odd for O2 - I've had them take money the day before its due - if it falls on a w/end. I have just looked back thru' my bank statements online and it has been taken every month on the 6/7/8 never this late :shrug: guess they take it when there ready :coffee:. Thanks again.
 
Im with O2 and on 3 times they have contacted me saying I've not paid, when I'm on a dd and it's them/their system that's not taken the money out. They've sent threatening texts and I've had to give my card details over the phone to avoid action being taken. Every month I'm relieved when the dd goes out. They're a total pain. I'll be glad when my contract is up! Sorry for rant! :haha:

This, it happens with EVERY single DD i have! :shrug:
 
Still hasn't gone, and they still haven't even requested it :shrug:
