Hello all,

Well the title says it all really! Both feet are swollen but one is worse than the other all the time. Seems a bit odd. Anyone else suffering from the same thing?

hiya hun i had my lil girl last week and developed really bad swollen feet and ankles after i had her, they are still really swollen and my left foot is more swollen than the right one lol i have had them checked by my mw as i have had high bp since the week before i hadher aswell and i was told its normal hun xx

thought so. It looks really weird though.... ick!

lol i know what you mean lol my they dont look like my feet anymore  x

On one occasion I noticed that when my right hip was hurting severely, that my entire right leg seemed to be swollen more than the left. And then.. when I got to my foot, well you could just say that I referred to it as my 'Hoof' that day because it was so swollen my toes were only half length and I could barely move them! It only happened for one day, and I had been on me feet and doing some physical work (Was not something I was supposed to be doing, my doc told me to stay off my feet! Whoops!). So I laid down with my feet on top of several pillows (Make sure your feet are higher than your heart & your head) that night in bed, and half way through the night I woke up and it had gone back to normal. I also downed a bunch of plain, cold water as soon as I noticed the swelling and it may have helped as well.

I don't have swelling in my feet but from my ankle to my knee swells. At times my left leg is worse than the right. It looks really funny.

My left calf is swollen quite a bit more than the right one as well....very weird looking.

My left foot swells more than my right. Its odd, my actual foot doesn't swell, just the ankle and lower part of the calf, so I have these HUGE legs and a normal foot. Its strange, but my dr. said not to worry about it too much the swelling isn't too severe.

It might mean that your baby is laying on that side (the more swollen side), as it's creating more pressure there :D

ive been really lucky as i dont have that much swelling it at all. But yeah i think its pretty common to have one side more swollen then the other. Could also be if your leaning more on that side when you stand or sit.

Thanks ladies, good to know it's not just me! SmokyJo - you're right, baby is lying on that side so that might explain it.
