anyone else have a hpt addiction?

After having 3 early losses and one successful pregnancy I am so terrified of another loss I want to keep testing. I only found out yesterday but did two tests then and one this morning to see if the line has got any darker. Does anyone know how quickly the line darkens? I know its silly to keep retesting I just can't help myself

You don't want to know how many times I have tested! . I think that is a completely normal reaction. I had a loss last time fairly early on, and the only way I knew something was wrong was that my tests started getting lighter instead of darker. Of course depending upon the brand the lines are lighter or darker. I'm pretty sure I tested this time everyday for two weeks. I finally quit around 6 weeks though! Congrats on your BFP! I wish you a happy pregnancy.

I've had 6 losses and a neo natal loss, expecting no 8 and have only poas once!!

My motto is poas won't change the outcome and will stress me more xx

I too had 3 losses. I found out around 3weeks and kept testing until I was 6 weeks. Used so many FRERs/Answers...

I've been told to stop once you get a good, strong positive, because you'll only drive yourself crazy with worry after that.

I got my early positive yesterday I think I have gone through about 6 tests (ok maybe more) analysing every single one. I have had positives on

Superdrug
Frer
Clear blue digital
Clear blue digital weeks

Why is this not enough for me maybe I will relax a bit more when Thursday is passed ( the day my period was due)

Drove myself nuts with a pound shop one that was barely there I think im going insane

I could sleep for a week though

I feel the same way, ladybird. Good positives on 3 brands, including cb digi w/weeks, but AF is due in 2 days so I'm still a touch nervous!

Got a very faint Today and will test again tomorrow with a better brand. I'm trying not to go crazy testing, but I do think I will start temping more, to make sure it stays elevated. Any of you ladies do that? Do you know if that's an accurate way to keep track?

tcinks, my nurse told me to stop temping once I found out I was positive, probably for the same reason she told me to stop POAS.

I'm officially nuts lol tested again still pregnant pmsl I got another pack of clear blue and used one after shopping with my mum who said are you buying more tests lol after tomorrow I promise to not do anymore (maybe)
