I was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis several years ago, and I always had to use topical steroids to make my little itchy red bumps go away. but it got so so so much worse when I got pregnant! I persevered for 2 entire weeks without putting anything on it (besides nivea cream), but I would wake up from scratching all the time. My arms were constantly bloody and I started to get, besides the little bumps, thickened, cracked or scaly spots on my skin. So I just used the topical steroid. I talked to a doctor that is an obstetrician, and he said it was completely ok and safe to use, as long as I don't use the very strong one, for a very long period of time (I'm using a moderate one, every two weeks or so). Also, I have a lot of skin itching in my face, and almost peeling off like I was on the sun for hours os something, but I can't use anything on my face so I just have to deal with it .
