Anyone else NEVER get a positive OPK this month?

Well i'm officially in the 2ww (CD21 of 29, AF due on the 9th). This is my first month seriously TTC, and I am already feeling cheated by my body because I never got a positive OPK (bought a box of 7 tests). The test lines were always super faint (the strongest one was the first test I did but it wasn't positive.)

Therefore I don't know what DPO I am or if I even timed it right. The annoying thing is, my cycles are like clockwork, so i don't know what went wrong.

We tried to "BD" at least every other day last week (my "fertile window") so I think I have my bases covered, but the fact I never got a positive throws me off.

Anyone else been through this? Any advice for nailing down the positive next cycle?

it is possible to miss your surge! this is why a lot of women test twice a day at least around the time of suspected fertility. Did you notice your EWCM at all this month? That can also clue you in to the time around when you really want to try and test twice a day because OV is coming. For example if you test at noon, it is possible that 12 hours later you ovulated and then you tested the next day and you missed it, never got your +opk. I would think that if you never noticed any fertile CM though I would be suspicious that maybe there was no ovulation this cycle.

I was also going to suggest testing twice a day. I never got a positive until I did this, also not with fmu as LH doesn't get produced until you are awake. So I tested 10am and 5pm and got it every month and 2nd month of finding it I got my My surge came and went within 8-10 hours so you can very easily miss it!!!! Good luck you have a good a chance as one. x

Thanks sooo much to both of you! I didn't know positive OPKs were so sneaky.

Next cycle, I am thinking of buying tests in bulk for cheap online (something like this) to make damn well *sure* I don't miss it next time. x

yeah you gotta by the bulk internet cheapies or you go broke! I have bulk internet cheapie strips and a box of 20 clearblue easy digital as a backup in case I want to verify my results (if I am second guessing how dark the line is). I save my cup of pee until I know for sure whether I want to retest with the clearblue. I got both on ebay for cheap (the CB was way cheaper than the store).

At least this month you did it every other day, so you definitey covered the bases! good luck!
