Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else is taking paroxetine? I am down to 15mg from 30mg which had taken me over a year to do due to the horrific withdrawals I suffered.
I am beginning my journey in ttc (first month trying; currently in tww).
Anyway, my doctor said it was fine for me to be on paroxetine when I get pregnant. I am not so sure. I've read things about the medication causing heart defects in the baby.
Has anyone had any experience of the drug and had a healthy baby? Has anyone had any problems? Can the drug cause problems with fertility or ttc?
It has caused a problem with me in that I have zero sex drive and can't physically have sex at the moment coz it has also become psychological. So we made the decision after lots of research to do home artificial insemination to make a baby, while we work on building up our sex life again. It takes the pressure off us and this first month the HAI has worked well for us.
