I am 33 weeks, my doctors want to induce me at 34-35 weeks due to IUGR. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around having a preemie. I also have 3 other kids to look after while I'm in the NICU. Anyone else preparing for an early delivery? How are you coping?

My son is pretty much a day by day thing . If my contractions, cramping, or discharge get worse then they will cut my cerclage out . I can somewhat relate . I'm just hoping things go well really . Gettin things for myself, baby and work ready while I can .
Are you delivering close to where you live? I will be travelling to a larger hospital to deliver so we have to find accomodations while we are in the NICU.

I know the feeling so congratulations ! Mine wasn't either, at 19 weeks I started to funnel and they wouldn't do the cerclage st that point . They said I wasn't a candidate . But when I went back 3 weeks later my cervix measured 1.9 they put it in . I've been on bedrest since 19 weeks, so I'm thankful to have made it this far too . If he comes, I feel great about it ! We have a awesome Children's Hospital about 10 minutes from my home . They have a great NICU and care for babies born before 24 weeks so I feel comfortable . Can you stay in the NICU with your baby ? Some hospitals have that option .
