Anyone else put the decs and tree up...

after the kids have gone to bed... so it looks like the Christmas fairy has done it??

I'll probably do it while she is at her dad's but more because I am a control freak when it comes to 'decorating' and I want it done perfect, no mismatched baby efforts

OMG! thought I would do it with my girl (who is 3) after my boy has gone to bed (he's just 1) but this has inspired me! She'd love going down stairs and seeing the tree all done! And the christmas fairy!!!
Yep, I will do it this way this year too! And will save me having to rearange it all because it's not how I want!!!

I put mine up a week ago when my little man was in bed
he got up the next morning and was so happy

I let my daughter help as she is 8 and didn't want to go to bed at 8.30 on a friday night lol x

I put mine up last week while my little man was in bed, Dan got to help cuss he doesn't believe anymore. I was so excited the next morning to see his face and when we came down the stairs he noticed the wreath on the front door and said " I think my christmas tree is up in there ". I was so disappointed. Lol.

My boy will def be helping me put ours up, wouldn't be the same doing it without him....and he ALWAYS puts the star on top!I take photos whilst were doing it too.
We make it a proper family event

The last 2 out of 3years (the 3rd year we were @ Disney land) we've had Mills help us put it up but after a little while she got bored n i ended up doing it myself anyways so decided this year to do it when they are in bed! Cant wait to see her lil face when she see's the tree AND gets to open her advent!! haha!! Dunno what Lex will make of it though
