Anyone else using Soy Isoflavones?

I am!!! First month but have used them before to kickstart ovulation.

I tried it this cycle (you can see it on my chart). I would say I've had a little more cramping than normal. My left tube is still in recovery from being blocked too, so its been hurting a bit much.

Didn't get to BD as much as I should have to really know if the SI worked. Good luck on it.

I was ttc for a while and decided to try soy isoflavens....I got my bfp that month but miscarried...don't know if it was coincidence or if it was the soy...I've heard mixed reviews on getting a bfp whilst using soy iso and miscarriage...three months later I got a natural bfp....I will never try soy again...

Hello NDurham12 and Laylagirl, thank you for your replies!

NDurham12 - fingers crossed for you, when will you test? xx

Laylagirl - thanks for sharing your experience, sorry about your loss. I think TTC is such a complicated process for some people so it's always good to hear different people's ideas and opinions. Congratulations on your BFP, H&H 9 months! xx

Hi Love,

so I don't know what's going on here. My cycles have always been normal so I completely IGNORED the the warning to NOT... NOT take SI if you have a normal cycle.

I've been getting bfn's all week, yet my cycle hasn't started today.

I was also on progesterone for a while, but stopped since I didn't want it to extend my cycle as I normally have a 26 day cycle. Today is day 28, so I'm a bit freaked out.

I have a regular cycle too but I know I don't ovulate every month due to low progesterone hence the SI. Did the progesterone work for you? Where did you get yours from?

How long have you been TTC if you don't mind me asking? Xxx

So the :witch: arrived as scheduled, just not first thing in the morning. Guess everything worked out, but I won't be trying the SI again, which sucks cause the bottle was over 30 bucks. But so be it.

I've been trying since 2013.

And, if I have my fertility process down, I think it's estrogen promotes CM for a sperm friendly cervix. While, LH is what's needed for ovulation to occur. Progesterone get's released after ovulation to allow the egg to implant in the uterus.

While, a progesterone over 3 indicates that ovulation has occurred, progesterone is not actually needed for ovulation.

That's my understanding of it anyway.

Ahhh! I always think I know what's happening and then I learn something more.

Sorry AF turned up xxx

$30 for a bottle of SI is extortionate!!! xx
