Hi there, was just wondering if there was anyone out there in the same situation as me at the mo?
We lost our baby at 22 weeks just before xmas and gave birth to a gorgeous sleeping girl. We are still devastated but have discussed that we want to start trying again soon. However we are still waiting for the PM results to find out why our baby died. We will get them on 26th Feb when we are going back to the consultant then if all goes well we will start trying after that.
Luckily my cycle seems to be back to normal - I've just had my first period after my loss.
So is anyone else waiting for results? We just want to know that its not somethign genetic that is likely to happen again and to see if its safe for us to try again.
Lots of lovexxxx

I am so sorry for your loss!:hugs:

I am in a similar situation....we lost our son at 24 weeks in December....
waiting for the results from the hospital (we did not have full pm...only blood tests, tests on the placenta and external examination of the baby)....they wanted us to come in for the results in March....which would have been an awful wait....so they agreed to give us half an hour on Monday....
I am coming up to ovulation in my first cycle after delivery and am wondering if I should or not....I am also worried what the results may bring....our hospital said they would not test for chromosomal abnormalities unless there are any in the family (which seems illogical as in that case you would know!)....so unsure what to do!

I am not much help, just wanted to say I am here!....
also there is a ttc thread in Stillbirth, Neonatal Loss and SIDS Section of the forum which might be helpful to you!
