Anyone else workin over xmas?

Im at work tomorrow (xmas eve) 11-6.30pm then I have xmas day off, then back in boxing night at 6pm
I hate pub work.. specially this time of year. Everyone else is winding down for the christmas period, gettin ready to chill out and its our busiest time really!!

i worked the last 5 years. first year off this year.
i worked retail, so christmas eve and boxing day were a must.. but when i worked at the local humane society, we had to go in christmas day because obviously the animals runs/cages needed to be cleaned and they needed to be fed. although it was always a blast and we'd open all the different things people donated and give all the animals lots of treats and new toys, and we could go in, in our pajamas and what not!
and then i worked call centre as well and it was a year round one that even on christmas day we still took calls!

I am working 5-12 tomorrow night, and then 11-5 on Christmas Day. I have boxing day off though!

I have always worked over Christmas. This year I am working 7-3 Christmas Eve (tomorrow), and Boxing Day I was scheduled to work 8-2, but I gave it away (wasn't hard as it's a stat day here which means time & a half). So I'm very lucky this year.. last year I closed on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve and I also worked 6-2pm (inside the Wal Mart McDonald's location) on Boxing Day.. that day was HELL.

I work retail and have always worked Christmas eve and boxing day....It sure does suck the fun out of the Holidays...
This Year I have Christmas eve off..but have to go in on the 26th.
I am taking next Christmas off....from the 24th til new Years..hehe......Hopefully on Mat leave but have to get my first....

I work overnights christmas eve and get off 6:30 am christmas day. I don't work that night though, so that is good. must drink caffeine to stay up.......must....zzzzz

Merry Christmas to all of us!!! I don't know if anyone is currently at work like I am (surfing the net...oops, heh) but if you are, hope everything is bearable! The ER is "sunny" right now (we don't say the dreaded Q word, it jinxes us) so hopefully I can make it another 5 hours!
